A beautiful strawberry tart with almond cream made with crisp pastry, rich almond filling, and fresh juicy strawberries. Elegant and easy homemade dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g flour
  • 125g butter
  • 50g sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 100g butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g ground almonds
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 300g strawberries
  • 2 tbsp apricot jam

Instructions

  1. Make pastry and chill.
  2. Line tart tin.
  3. Prepare almond cream.
  4. Fill shell.
  5. Bake at 180°C for 30–35 minutes.
  6. Cool fully.
  7. Top with strawberries.
  8. Brush glaze and serve.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries. Cool tart before decorating. Chill before serving for clean slices.
