- 4 slices thick bread
- 2 large eggs
- 120ml milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Heat butter in a pan.
- Dip bread slices briefly into mixture.
- Cook in pan until golden brown.
- Flip and cook other side.
- Repeat for all slices.
- Serve warm with toppings.
Notes
Use slightly stale bread for best results. Do not oversoak. Cook on medium heat. Serve with syrup, honey, or fresh fruits.
