Ingredients

- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups strawberries
- 1 tbsp strawberry jam
- 1 tsp water
Instructions
- Make dough and chill 30 minutes.
- Roll out and bake tart crust until golden.
- Cool completely.
- Beat mascarpone, cream, sugar, and vanilla until thick.
- Spread filling into crust.
- Arrange strawberries on top.
- Brush with glaze if desired.
- Chill before serving.
Notes
Use ripe strawberries for best flavor. Assemble the tart the day of serving for freshness. Chill well before slicing. Store in refrigerator up to 2 days.
