Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 1 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 1 tsp water

Instructions

  1. Make dough and chill 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out and bake tart crust until golden.
  3. Cool completely.
  4. Beat mascarpone, cream, sugar, and vanilla until thick.
  5. Spread filling into crust.
  6. Arrange strawberries on top.
  7. Brush with glaze if desired.
  8. Chill before serving.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for best flavor. Assemble the tart the day of serving for freshness. Chill well before slicing. Store in refrigerator up to 2 days.
