  • 1 package (14.3 oz) golden Oreo cookies

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 3 containers (8 oz each) whipped topping

  • 1 box (0.3 oz) strawberry gelatin

  • 2/3 cup boiling water

  • 1/2 cup cold water plus ice cubes to make 1 cup

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced small

  • Additional strawberries for garnish

  • Crushed cookies for garnish

  • Chocolate curls for garnish

Instructions

  • Crush golden Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter and press into a 9×13-inch dish. Chill for 30 minutes.

  • Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 container of whipped topping. Spread evenly over the chilled crust.

  • Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and ice cubes until slightly thickened.

  • Fold diced strawberries and 1 container of whipped topping into the gelatin mixture. Spread over the cream cheese layer.

 

  • Spread remaining whipped topping evenly on top. Garnish with strawberries, crushed Oreos, and chocolate curls. Chill at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Chill for at least 4 hours; overnight yields the best texture and clean slices.

  • Do not freeze, as gelatin and whipped topping separate when thawed.

  • Add garnishes just before serving to keep them fresh.

  • For a sturdier crust, press crumbs firmly and chill the base well.
