- 2 cups basil leaves
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup pine nuts
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Toast pine nuts lightly.
- Blend basil, garlic, and nuts.
- Slowly add olive oil.
- Add Parmesan and lemon.
- Season and adjust taste.
- Store with olive oil layer on top.
Notes
Use fresh basil for best flavor. Add olive oil slowly for smooth texture. Adjust lemon for brightness. Store in fridge with oil layer.
