  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, pecans, or dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas in a large bowl until mostly smooth.
  3. Stir in honey, eggs, Greek yogurt (or applesauce), coconut oil, and vanilla.
  4. Whisk together whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Gently fold dry ingredients into banana mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in nuts, seeds, or chocolate chips if desired.
  7. Pour batter into loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool 10-15 minutes in pan, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes
