Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 12 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Toast pine nuts lightly.
  2. Add basil and pine nuts to blender.
  3. Pulse until chopped.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese.
  5. Slowly add olive oil.
  6. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  7. Blend until desired texture.

Notes

Use fresh basil for best results. Add olive oil slowly for a smooth texture. Store in fridge with a layer of oil on top.
