- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/3 cup pine nuts
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1–2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Toast pine nuts lightly.
- Add basil and pine nuts to blender.
- Pulse until chopped.
- Add Parmesan cheese.
- Slowly add olive oil.
- Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until desired texture.
Notes
Use fresh basil for best results. Add olive oil slowly for a smooth texture. Store in fridge with a layer of oil on top.
