- 6 thick slices bread
- 3 eggs
- 180ml milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Dip bread slices and soak briefly.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook each slice 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
- Serve warm with toppings.
Notes
Use slightly stale bread for best texture. Cook on medium heat. Serve with syrup, fruit, or powdered sugar.
