- 200g flour
- 200g sugar
- 75g cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 240ml milk
- 120ml oil
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- 1½ tsp baking soda
- Butter and icing sugar for frosting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
- Stir in hot water.
- Bake 30–35 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Prepare frosting.
- Assemble and serve.
Notes
Use hot coffee for deeper flavor. Do not overmix. Let cake cool fully before frosting.
