  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix dry ingredients together.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla and mix.
  4. Stir in hot water or coffee.
  5. Pour batter into pans and bake 30–35 minutes.
  6. Cool completely.
  7. Beat butter, sugar, cocoa, milk, and vanilla to make frosting.
  8. Frost cake and serve.
