Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and dry basil.
- Toast pine nuts lightly.
- Blend basil, nuts, garlic, and Parmesan.
- Add olive oil slowly.
- Blend until slightly textured.
- Season with salt and lemon.
- Adjust taste.
Notes
Use fresh basil only. Do not over-blend. Toast pine nuts for extra flavor. Store with olive oil layer on top to keep fresh.
