- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 2–3 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and dry basil leaves.
- Toast almonds lightly if desired.
- Add basil, almonds, garlic, and Parmesan to food processor.
- Pulse until chopped.
- Slowly add olive oil while blending.
- Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until smooth.
- Adjust consistency if needed.
Notes
Toast almonds for deeper flavor. Store in fridge with olive oil layer. Freeze in portions for later use.
